some solid 12+ hours of sleep, new music, and the prospect of dinner at damara's and christmas tonight all make yeppie a happy girl *^_^* sure, the stupid regression final must be done tonight and tomorrow and the day after that and some japanese studying must be done in between... but i ain't gonna worry. nope no worries.
but who would have thought i would have my first sleepless night working for kornhauser... evil man... grrr. maybe i shouldn't take e-commerce next semester... that's another semster of kornhauser with another final project at the end of the year... ... eeeewwwww... not that kornhauser is bad... in fact, he's a great prof... i just don't want another repeat of sunday/monday... *shudder*.. the one thing i learned for sure is that kornhauser will *not* be my thesis advisor!
nyway, my ceramics stuff is here! not all of it, but almost all the small stuff is here ^_^ i soo happy. too bad there's no place to put it all. we need another whole shelving unit or something.... ^^;

i'm kinda worried about lynx tho... we went to the vet today and the vet said he was fine but after we got back lynx has been sleeping all day long... most unusual... i wonder if the shots had anything to do with it... i worry T___T

another odd odd christmas eve... last year it was spent stuck in traffic thanks to some icy snow... this year it was spent driving around, trying to pick up the kitty. and such an adventure it was too. coming from west virginia, the kitten had a transfer flight in detroit but the people there never marked down whether he made it in the connecting flight... so when we call an hour before the kitten is suppose to land, they tell us he's not on the plane and may possibly be stuck in detroit... ;____;... so we panic but they call us about an hour after the kitten was suppose to land and tell us that he's there waiting. so we head off to pick the kitten up at the cargo area.. but the stupid place is huuuuuge and we spend another hour trying to find the building ^^;... anyway we have him now and it's the best present ever ^^ even tho he is my brother's

i'm so disgusted. my brother must be the luckiest chap around or i just have phenomenal bad luck... his not-even-a-month-old cellphone took a long extend bath and spa session in the washer and dryer repectively and the only thing that doesn't work is the display while my nomad zen gets a few drops of water on it and it goes haywire... *sigh*

this week is the best ever ^_^.. well, not the absolutely the best but one of the closest it's been for a while. i finally got the zelgadis eyecatch i've been waiting fooooorever for yesterday, i can use the internet at home and it's *not* dial-up anymore, the first kitty will be coming tomorrow, and .. oh i think that's it ^^; now the only thing i need to make the week perfect is to find out that i somehow inherited several million and that someone.. aah wel.. let's not go there ^^

last minute downloading spree before i go home... i mean, we do have cable modem now but to use it, i'd have to install the program, which is a pain... *sigh* i'll probably give in tho and install it as soon as i get back home... ^^;
but yeah, lots and lots of new songs *^_^*... is it bad for the computer if i'm downloading um... 60+ things at the same time?... actually.. it probably is but.. um.. i have no time so i guess whatever the consequences are, i'll live.. wellll.. except if the computer dies... that would be bad. but it would also be good cause then i'd have a great excuse not to do my transportation project, all the data is saved in tsm, and i still have warrenty!... but nooo... all the pain and hassle of getting everything back.. ick. nonono. computer please don't crash!.. oh wel.. i guess there's no real purpose in writing this cause i'm still downloading...
but on a problem that can be fixed... i really need more hard drive space.. only a little more than 1 gig left.. *sad*... or i guess i could just get my zen nomad back. it finally went out in the mail today. back to creative labs so they can fix it ^^
oh wait... instead of doing this while waiting for the downloads to finish, maybe i should pack... haaaa.. yeah that would be a good idea...

finally on to version 2 of this blog.... i wonder when i'll get tired of this one? i already have 7 more prepared... ^^;
none the less, i hope this layout works as well as the last one did.. this one was a lot harder to find acceptable text colors for... i'm still not very happy with the extent of the contrast but i can't think of anything else that might work without clashing too much... oh wel ^^
today was cool... got lots and lots of ceramics done. made something really cute but i'll stay mum about it cause it's suppose to be a surprise *^^* however, the jewelry box is finished! yay!... but there's no room on the shelf reserved for stuff to be fired so i don't know what i'm gonna do... i'd really like to have it fired over the break... *sigh*.. i wonder if jim might go in tomorrow and fire the stuff? it would also be nice if he took the already fired stuff out of the kiln... they've been in there for a week. i think they're done by now... ^^;
and with this being the longest entry i've ever made in the blog as of yet, i think i'll head off to bed... or at least some other method of time suckage that doesn't involve this site ^_^

but i've definitely realized why handmade clothing is sooooo expensive... you need to charge lots and lots for that one item of clothing so you can survive on it until the next stupid piece of clothing is made...
but on the positive side, i only need the scarf to be twice as long as it is now before i'm done!

back at school. enjoying the remaining day of sleeep-as-late-as-you-want-and-not-think days... or in otherwords, school starts again on thursday...
but trip to nyc was fuuuuun. lunch, dinner, and phantom were all fabulous but somehow i think i'm not meant to own cool silk cushions... maybe the fact that all two of the stores i tried were not where they were suppose to be might have something to do with it ^^;
